About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our Facilities team at Trafford Town Hall. This is an afternoon-to-evening shift role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for staff and visitors.Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general care-taking duties, including minor repairs, maintenance, and porterage.Ensure the building is secure, clean, and well-presented at all times.Support with room setups for meetings and events.Monitor and report any health and safety issues or building defects.Liaise with contractors and other service providers as required.Perform regular checks of the premises and equipment.Assist with emergency procedures and act as a keyholder. Requirements:

A full UK driving licence is essential.Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role is desirable.Good understanding of health and safety practices.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours requirements.
