Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter with additional skills in minor plumbing works to join our maintenance team operating across London. This role involves carrying out a range of domestic and small commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. The successful applicants should also be able to complete maintenance jobs like replacing taps, applying sealant, and simple repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of carpentry including door hanging, skirting, architraves, flooring, cupboard repair and general maintenance repairs.
Carry out minor plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, repairing leaks, applying sealant,and similar small–scale works.
Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a professional approach in occupied and void properties.
Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.
Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with no more than 5 points.
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Carpentry or valid CSCS card.
Demonstrable experience in both carpentry and minor plumbing works.
Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Previous experience within domestic or small commercial environments is advantageous.
