Assistant Site Manager

Description

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a nationwide Principal Contractor on a prestigious c. 15 million traditional-build care home project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an all-rounder Assistant Site Manager who is confident working across the full range of site management responsibilities and has a strong understanding of traditional construction methods and structures from start to finish.

The Role

Supporting the Site Manager and Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of the projectCoordinating subcontractors, trades and site activitiesMonitoring quality, progress and health & safetyAssisting with programme management and short-term planningWorking closely with the commercial and design teamsMaintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentationHelping drive the project through to successful completionAbout You

We're looking for someone with a solid construction background who has experience on traditional-build projects, ideally within the residential or care home sector. You should be comfortable overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle from groundworks to handover.
