Chef – Café Kitchen Team Member – thewagonbistros.co.uk

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable Chef to join our friendly café team at Wagon Bistros. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, a small team environment, and a fast-paced but relaxed café setting.

Job Details:

4 days per week (including weekends)

25–30 hours per week (hours may vary depending on business levels)

£13 per hour plus tips

Tips are shared daily among staff, prorated based on hours worked

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook café-style breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes

Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards are met at all times

Assist with stock control and food preparation

Work efficiently during busy service periods

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a chef or cook

Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety

Ability to work well in a small team and independently

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
