Live in carer - South East London

Description

Looking for one new live in carer/PA to start mid-April working 5 days one week a month and 7 days one week a month.

I'm a 34 year old woman living with my husband and have a severe muscle wasting condition. I'm a full-time wheelchair user and need support with all aspects of personal care.

The tasks include but are not limited to:

Hoisting
Toileting
Showering including grooming
Dressing
Skincare and maintaining skin health
Haircare/make up
Light cleaning and washing
Cooking
Assisting to and from work
Occasional night support

About you:

Experience is not required but you must be comfortable carrying out all tasks including personal care
Fast learner who takes initiative to get household tasks done
Ability to occupy yourself during downtime
Comfortable in an office or professional environment
Good cook or willing to learn
Physically fit
Ideally able to commit to minimum of 12 months

There are at least 2x 2 hour breaks per day with additional downtime.
