Description
Key Responsibilities;
Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Help with mobility and safe movement Support with eating and drinking where required Administer or assist with medication (if trained) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping) Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour Maintain accurate care records Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures Skills and Qualifications Good communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic literacy and numeracy Previous care experience (preferred but not always required) Relevant qualification (e.g., Health and Social Care Level 2/3 – desirable) Key Attributes Empathy and kindness Reliability and trustworthiness Flexibility and adaptability Strong sense of responsibility
