This is for emergency cover from 11am on the 24/01/26 to 11am on the 03/02/2026 - £300 per day/night (24hrs) (£3000 for the full cover, there is no additional payment towards travel, food etc. but you will be welcome to have a share of the meals that you prepare)

I will need a copy of the following Your UTR Number or proof of self empoyment, current DBS, carers insurance and driving licence

This is for temporary cover only 11am on the 24/01/26 to 11am on the 03/02/2026, My usual carer is needing additional time off after an operation.

Details about the roll

Lady in her early 70’s is looking for a live in carer to join with her current carer.

Duties: Assist her to live as independent as possible and help her with her mobility. Meal preparation/cooking, medication prompting, maintaining housework, dressing/undressing, personal care and support to engage in appointments, social life and going to church. Sometimes this might be helping her with eating and/or drinking and moving/handling (on her very bad days)

Have a driving licence and due to location have own transport.

Kind, really, really patient and have a good sense of humour.

Her mobility can really vary from using a Sara Stedy, wheel chair

Her husband, who was her main carer up to 2016 stays in the house too, he is in his late 70's but is no longer able to look after her. He is easy going, independent, does his own thing, apart from meals looks after himself and happy to seeing his wife being looked after, but he is a smoker.

The house is also resident to a cat.
