This is a 1990 VW TRANSPORTER T3 KAMEO 2 BERTH CAMPER VAN built by Autohomes and registered as a Motor Caravan on the V5. Just been serviced and has a fresh new NO ADVISORY MOT until FEBRUARY 2027. Last 3 MOTS have been advisory free. It is a 35 year old VW T3 camper Van and whilst it has had 4 owners the 3rd owner had it for 28 years from May 1997 until April 2025 selling it to a family member earlier this year as she decided to give up driving. This classic camper has a lovely sounding water cooled flat 4 cylinder ( pancake engine ) 80 BHP 1.9 petrol engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox. It drives incredibly well. I was shocked and surprised at how lively and smooth it drove. The steering is typically heavy and the manual gearbox has an element of looseness that apparently they all have. Obviously it is is need of some cosmetic attention. Generally clean and original with signs of previous bodywork repairs and just starting to look a little tired around the edges, underneath is clean straight, not corroded and not covered in underseal. It is solid and genuine. There are some replica 15 inch EMPI alloy wheels. The interior ideally could do with updating it has an early 80's beige and brown ambience. There is a gas hob and grille, sink and Electrolux fridge. There are gas bottles, water tanks and a leisure battery. Folding bed-bench with seat-belts. Fitted with some replica 15 inch EMPI alloy wheels. It has 2 keys, recently fitted Pioneer DAB-Bluetooth radio stereo, owners handbooks, a load of service history, some instruction manuals and various awnings, gas bottles etc. There is NO mains lead up cable. Considering this van is now 36 years old it is very clean and deserves some love. New battery just fitted. Recent service with a new oil pressure switch and ignition amplifier fitted.
