For sale is stunning massive George IV meat platter Paul Storr, London 1821, of shaped oval outline with a cast gadrooned and leaf clasped shell border, with a small crest and coronet to the rim . Centre is not engraved. Width: 55cm, weight 3030g
Heraldry: The Crest of Murray, Earl of Dunmore Crest: A demi-savage proper wreathed about the temples and waist his arms extended and holding in his right hand a sword and in his left hand a key all proper, the crest is ensigned with an earl’s coronet.
This is a stunning , heavy usable platter with over 3kg of sterling silver . Good crisp hallmarks and made by the Legendary Paul Storr.
