Experienced Landscaper / Gardener Team Leader

Description

TD Recruitment are hiring for an experienced Landscaper / Gardener Team Leader to join an active team in the Salisbury area.

This is a full-time, ongoing role working in a small crew of 3–4 operatives delivering high-standard soft landscaping and garden care across residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

*

Overseeing day-to-day site operations and directing team members on soft landscaping tasks.

*

Carrying out routine garden maintenance: pruning, planting, systematic watering, weeding, and lawn care/mowing.

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

*

Interacting professionally with clients and maintaining site cleanliness.

Candidate Requirements

*

Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving company vehicles (Candidates over 25 preferred for fleet insurance criteria).

*

PPE: Must have standard 3-Point PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, hi-vis vest/jacket, and work gloves).

*

Experience: Proven practical background in soft landscaping and garden maintenance, with natural leadership ability.

*

Attributes: High reliability, strict punctuality for 07:30 AM starts, and a strong work ethic.

Competitive PAYE rate ranging from £15.00 to £16.25 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).

Consistent 50+ hour work week (07:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday).
