Financial Reporting Manager

Annual Salary: GBP75-85k depending on experienceLocation: LondonJob Type: Full-time A leading, international communications consultancy is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate will take the lead on financial reporting, tax, and working capital for the Group. This role is ideal for someone looking to drive continuous improvement, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting.

Day-to-day of the role:

Financial Reporting and Control: Lead the year-end audit process and manage the auditors.Prepare the monthly group consolidation with analysisPrepare the Group consolidated accounts and statutory accounts for non-consolidated companies.Manage the finance reporting timetable across the Group. Group Reporting and Management Accounts: Review and prepare monthly management accounts and budgets for the UK holding companies. Working Capital: Review monthly balance sheets and prepare forecast balance sheets.Conduct cash flow forecasting including review of the weekly short-term cash-flow forecasts. Treasury: Report banking covenants on a monthly basis.Support bank account management across the Group. Financial Reporting: Prepare impact assessments of new reporting standards and manage compliance with existing standards. Tax: Support with the Group and company VAT returns. Other Responsibilities: Report monthly results to internal & external stakeholders.Involve in project work such as M&A & Transfer Pricing. Required Skills & Qualifications:

ACA qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained or equivalentUp to four years' post-qualified experience.Technically competent with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in communicating with all levels of the business.Well organised but flexible to respond to changing deadlines and requests.Pride in work and strong sense of ownership.Able to work independently while supporting the wider team.Intermediate Excel ability (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data linking, etc.).
