Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a highly visible role, partnering with senior operational leaders to drive commercial performance, improve decision-making and support continued business growth.

Working across a complex operational environment, you will provide commercial insight, challenge, and analysis to influence profitability, contract performance, and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to drive business performance.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Deliver insightful reporting and analysis on revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.Support contract reviews, commercial decision-making, and tender activity.Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to stakeholders.Develop meaningful financial models to support strategic initiatives.Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting, and financial processes. About You

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent level.Proven experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within Integrated Facilities Management, Construction, or another contract-led service environment.Deep understanding of contract performance, cost control, margin management, and working capitalStrong understanding of contract WIP, revenue, cost accruals, billing, and their relationship to contract performanceDemonstrable experience using commercial insight to influence operational decisions and improve contract profitability and cash conversionHighly analytical, with advanced financial modelling and reporting skills.Confident challenging and influencing senior leaders to support decision-making.Able to build credibility and relationships across the business.Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work autonomously.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve.
