Your new role

Working closely with a Director and Senior Managers, you'll take responsibility for delivering high-quality management accounts and outsourced services to a portfolio of clients, while starting to step into a more client-facing and supervisory position.This is a development role - ideal for someone technically strong who wants more exposure to clients, people management and commercial decision-making.Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Director with their client portfolio and acting as a day-to-day point of contactPreparing and reviewing management accounts for sole traders and SME clientsOverseeing bookkeeping and outsourced finance workPreparing and reviewing VAT returns and assisting with tax complianceLiaising with audit, tax and payroll teams across the wider firmReviewing trainee work and providing feedbackAssisting with reporting, analysis and early exposure to FP&A-style workContributing to client growth and business development opportunitiesWhat you'll need to succeed

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)Solid experience producing management accounts within an accountancy practiceConfident communicating with clients and beginning to manage queries independentlyExperience reviewing trainee work (or ready to take that step)Strong technical base with the ability to apply it commerciallyComfortable managing deadlines, priorities and multiple clientsXero experience is essentialWhat you'll get in return
