Unlock Your Potential in Science with Expert Ph.D. Tutor
Are you struggling to bridge the gap between "knowing" the content and "acing" the exam? Whether you are navigating KS3 Science, GCSE, mastering A-Level Chemistry/Biology, or tackling Undergraduate research, expert guidance makes all the difference.
With a Ph.D. in Chemistry and over 18 years of classroom experience (PGCE & QTS), I provide more than just tutoring—I provide a roadmap to academic excellence. Since 2007, I have helped hundreds of students secure top grades through a blend of deep conceptual understanding and strategic exam technique.
I provide comprehensive support for every stage: Key Stage 3 & GCSE (KS4): Building a rock-solid foundation in Biology and Chemistry. A-Level & IB (KS5): Specialised preparation for Chemistry and Biology examinations. In undergraduate studies: Advanced support is offered for degree-level Chemistry and life sciences. In addition EPQ & Project Writing is also mentored and supported.
Beyond the Textbook: Your Path to University
Navigating the transition to higher education can be daunting. I offer specialised coaching for:
UCAS Applications: Strategic advice for competitive courses.
Personal Statements: Crafting a narrative that stands out to admissions tutors.
Study Skills: Time management and revision strategies that actually work.
The "Kind & Capable" Approach
Science can be intimidating. My teaching philosophy is built on being approachable and patient. I focus on building student confidence, creating a safe space to ask "why," and breaking down the most difficult concepts into manageable, logical steps.
"A proven track record of success, year after year."
