Maths and Chemistry Tuition for SQA National 5 and Higher

Description

I am now in my thirteenth year doing private tuition, and taking on pupils for 2026 exams. I thoroughly enjoy helping my pupils to go into their exams better prepared and more confident than when I first met them.

My core subjects are Maths and Chemistry, ideally for SQA National 5 or Higher, but I am willing to assist pupils learning other subjects, or at other levels, where my skills and knowledge are appropriate. I work from 2nd Level BGE (upper primary) right through to Higher or Advanced Higher, and can usually help with the other sciences, social sciences, computing, and English (up to Higher).

Rates negotiable from £25/hour for BGE Level 2 through National 5, or from £30/hour for Higher or AH, plus reasonable expenses for any travel outside KY16. I prefer to work for two hours (or more) per visit: Many of the SQA exams are now more than two hours long, and the extra time for tuition also gives me the flexibility to develop learning across subject boundaries.

I am a PVG Scheme Member with respect to working with young people.
