Description

This bike is in mechanically perfect condition. The good! Every Bearing of note has been recently replaced, carbs cleaned and reconditioned, recent service, new flywheel with better magnets, new fork seals and has had a top end valve clearance check (all well within spec).

It has a Piper Cross Air Filter conversion and a 17" rear wheel conversion (done properly with Extracep rear wheel conversion, then sent to hagon for new fully tuneable rear suspension arms set up to keep the correct bike geometry), Its running Metzeler Roadtecs which seem perfect for the bike as setup.

I have converted it to a manual Vboost but have all the parts to change it back (it gives you miles better fuel economy and I have jetted out most of the low rev stumbling you get on boost), if you want hooligan mode just wind the boost on and it will pull like a train from 2000 revs. Also it has been single seat converted but nothing has been cut on the frame so you could put it back to standard if you wanted to. It has a private number plate as shown which will come free with the bike. all shiny bits polish up really well.

Its had a custom built fully stainless exhaust fitted and it really adds to the free breathing nature of this bike. Its one of the most head turning bikes in terms of sound as it has a unique tone that shouts performance.

It has a matt flock seat that is REALLY comfortable and I have converted the controls to forwards but again have all the parts to covert it back if you want to.

The not so good. I have owned this bike for years and am NOT in any way any good at bodywork. I am a mechanic so the body work is what I would call shed built ;o) its either keep it as is or do what you want.

It is BIBLICALLY Loud... the pipes were custom built and give a very LOW but loud Growl. Its the nicest sounding VMAX i have ever owned but it may be loud for you so viewing recommended.

This is a very clean bike for its age but there are lots of bits of painwork that need attention. Its not the worst by any stretch and a few hours with some gloss engine paint will have it looking nice again.

I am a bike mechanic and have had this as a daily ride for years. it has NEVER and I mean NEVER let me down. It has been looked after and the engine is as good as they come. I am selling it as it really is a rocket and I am getting on and want to go to something a bit sedate.
