Bartender / Waiter – Gamba

Gamba, Glasgow | Part-Time

Gamba is looking for an experienced, confident and hardworking Bartender/Waiter to join our front-of-house team.

We are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional service while working efficiently in a busy, fast-paced fine dining environment. You will be required to work across both the bar and restaurant floor, so the ability to multitask and stay organised is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

● Have previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar or fine dining environment

● Be confident serving guests and providing exceptional customer service

● Have strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and drinks service

● Be comfortable working both behind the bar and on the restaurant floor

● Be able to multitask and prioritise effectively during busy services

● Have excellent attention to detail and a professional appearance

● Work well under pressure while maintaining a calm and positive attitude

● Be reliable, punctual and a strong team player

● Take pride in delivering a high standard of service

● Be confident communicating with both guests and colleagues

Your role will include:

● Welcoming and looking after guests throughout their visit

● Taking food and drinks orders and providing knowledgeable recommendations

● Preparing and serving drinks to a high standard

● Delivering food and maintaining excellent table service

● Keeping the bar and restaurant areas clean, organised and fully stocked

● Supporting the wider team during busy services

● Ensuring Gamba’s high standards of service and presentation are maintained at all times

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being busy, takes initiative and can confidently manage several tasks at once.

Initially Friday and Saturday evenings only.
