Description
VW GOLF 2lt TDI diesel. Cat S but deemed fit for repair and MOT. MOT till February 2026. Bodywork OK. Now for the (Truth bits). 170,000 miles. Told it was remapped Stage 1 and can certainly say it feels like it. I really don't know a lot about the car apart from what I've been told by previous keepers. The only time I drove it was yesterday and it pulls like hell. However, (here's the honest bit) I drove about a mile or so and as I was in a car park waiting to turn I felt it loose power and started smoking from the exhaust. After parking up I turned engine off for 30 seconds the restarted it and it was fine, even put my foot down coming up a hill and it pulled like a train with no smoke. Now a bloke I spoke to told me it could be the egr or dpf as it's been remapped but I seriously have no idea. IT HAS ONLY COME UP WITH ONE CODE AND THATS P0322 VW. That's full disclosure of everything I know. I WOULD CONSIDER SWAPPING FOR A CHEAP RUNABOUT WITH SIMILAR MOT. I'm in Swansea but not very mobile after a fall.
