De Vere 504 Varicon Monochrome enlarger

Description

This iconic DeVere 504 Varicon was new to me in 1990 and after about 15 years of fabulous service was retired and has been stored in my house ever since. It is in excellent working order with very clear and virtually unblemished lenses and condensers.

It comes with one 100mm, one 120mm and two 180mm condensers (including a custom made storage box - hence the great condition) along with a 50mm, a 100mm and a 135mm lens allowing for the full range of film formats up to 5” x 4”.The masks for the film formats are: 35mm (x2 as one has been filed for printing the rebate). 6x6cm, 6x4.5cm, 6x7cm, 6x9cm and 5x4 inch. It also includes a glass mask for full-size.

The sale includes the full range of Multigrade filters (0-5 in half grades - 11 in total) which are sandwiched in glass plates for easier handling.

The enlarger comes with a 12”x16” easel. The leaves on the easel are a little bent but you still get and even border and it has a useful adjustable border depth system for deeper borders.
