Role: Activities / Engagement Coordinator

Location: Gurugram, India, near Delhi

Duration: 3–6 months

Accommodation included, plus £700–£1,500 per month living allowance, with a possible completion bonus or flight contribution after 3 months.

Uptitude is a friendly UK company with a growing team in Gurugram, India. We build data platforms, dashboards and AI-enabled tools for large organisations. As we work with global clients, confident spoken English and professional communication are important to our team.

We’re looking for an Activities / Engagement Coordinator to help create a natural English-speaking environment in the office through conversation, team-building and soft skills activities.

This is not a formal classroom teaching role. It’s about helping people feel more confident speaking English in real situations.

What you’ll do

You’ll plan and lead informal activities such as:

English conversation clubs
Group discussions and team-building games
1:1 speaking practice
Presentation and storytelling practice
Fun Friday activities
Cultural exchange sessions
Confidence-building and soft skills activities

The goal is to make English practice feel natural, enjoyable and useful.

Who we’re looking for

You should be either:

A native English speaker;

or A fluent English speaker with TEFL, CELTA, TESOL or equivalent qualifications.

You’ll be a good fit if you are friendly, patient, confident with groups, culturally open-minded and enjoy encouraging others.

What we offer

At the start of the contract, the successful candidate will receive initial training at Uptitude’s UK head office in London. This will include an introduction to the company, our team culture, the purpose of the role, and the activities and communication outcomes we would like to achieve before travelling to Gurugram, India.

Gurugram is part of the Delhi NCR area, with easy access to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Rajasthan, the Himalayas and many other places for weekend trips.
