Description
This 2002 Triumph Tiger 955i, in eye-catching green with the classic tiger stripes on the petrol tank, is a well-equipped adventure bike ready for your next journey. It has matching green lockable Triumph luggage panniers and the hugely reliable 955 liquid cooled four stroke engine.
It is a very affordable touring and commuting classic.
It's in very good condition for its' age with typical age-related marks. It has been well-maintained and kept in a garage overnight for the last three years. It's in great working order with good tyres and ready to ride.
Added features include Oxford heated grips; headlights adjusted so both operate together on dipped and high beam; LEDs installed behind the instrument panel making them far more visible; cigar lighter style power outlet for a mobile phone charger; racing silencer; Scott-oiler; higher windscreen; centre stand as well as side stand; luggage panniers.
The bike was reportedly involved in an accident in summer 2005 and was damaged but repairable. The insurance company chose to pay the insured value rather than repair it and they sold the damaged bike through auction. I have not seen any sign of the repairs.
