Driver/Yard Person

All applicants must live within 30 minute travelling time to PE28 0PQ.

We at JH Building Restoration are seeking additional members of staff and have the position of yard worker/driver currently available.

You will be working within a team specialising in the restoration of listed buildings. Very interesting work with a range of on-going projects. No two days the same.

With a full order book, there is no shortage of work to be done. We are located on the Beds, Northants and Cambridgeshire boarder with most projects taking place within a 40-minute drive.

Applicants must have clean drivers' licence and be comfortable towing loaded trailers or have a 7.5 tonne licence and ideally a small tele-handler certificate.

Position is either Full Time and or Part Time or Job Share up to 40 hours per week with a 1 hour break per day. Flexi-time.

Duties

Deliveries and collections to/ from sites and merchants etc.

Safety & security as well as waste management capabilities

Yard duties to include, stock control and monitoring, keeping all stores and open yard storage tidy and safe. Cleaning and maintaining, equipment, trailers, vehicles, etc.

Assisting the joinery workshop with any manual duties.

Additional duties as required by the company.

Must be able to work under own initiative

Being able to use a tele-handler would be an advantage
