Job Title: Project Freight Forwarder - Operations Location: SurreyDepartment: Project Logistics / OperationsReports To: Operations Manager / Project Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Freight Forwarder to join our clients operations team. The successful candidate will manage complex logistics projects involving out-of-gauge (OOG), heavy lift, and oil & gas shipments. This role requires a deep understanding of international freight forwarding, multimodal transport solutions, and project cargo handling.

Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination:Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end logistics solutions for OOG, heavy lift, and oil & gas shipments across air, sea, and land.

Operational Execution:Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of cargo, including route planning, carrier selection, and documentation.

Compliance & Documentation:Prepare and verify shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations, certificates of origin) in line with international regulations.

Risk Management:Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies for high-value and complex cargo.

Cost Control:Monitor budgets and provide cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.

Able to identify potential new business internally

Requirements: Proven experience in project freight forwarding, especially with OOG, heavy lift, and oil & gas cargo.Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping regulations, and customs procedures.Experience with multimodal transport planning and execution.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
