Job Title: Warehouse Operative and Van Driver – Immediate start!

Location: Sutton–in–Ashfield NG17

Pay Rate: 13.00 – 13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

About the Role:

Barker Ross are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative and Van Drivers to join our busy manufacturing team. This is an urgent position offering consistent hours and the chance to gain experience in a hands–on operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support stock control, including inventory counts and material handling

Assist with wrapping, labelling, and preparing completed units/components for transport and delivery

Undertake any other reasonable duties to support operational needs (e.g., painting frames)

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring high housekeeping standards

Follow all health & safety regulations, PPE requirements, and site rules

For Van drivers – Part time potentially to drive our company vehicle to complete deliveries to our client when our main van driver isn't at work due to health reasons.

Requirements:

Reliable, hardworking, and flexible

Stoke control experience

Willingness to undertake a variety of manual tasks

Ability to follow instructions and work safely within a team environment
