Salary: Up to 40,000 (dependent on experience)

Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well–established and reputable freight forwarding business for an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join their Bradford–based operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled air freight professional to take ownership of shipments end–to–end within a supportive and well–structured environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing air freight import and/or export shipments from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Handling air freight shipments (import/export) end–to–endProviding quotations to clientsArranging collections and deliveries with agents and carriersPreparing and processing all relevant shipping documentationManaging import/export customs clearance proceduresCosting shipments and raising invoicesMaintaining accurate operational records

Requirements:

Minimum 6+ years' experience with a UK–based freight forwarderStrong knowledge of air freight import and/or export operationsExperience with customs proceduresFamiliarity with CargoWise is highly desirableExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments independentlyWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
