Description
Howdens is recruiting a Van Driver to join our team at Howdens Worksurfaces, our solid surface manufacturing site in Normanton, Wakefield. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering finished products safely and efficiently to our customers, helping to ensure exceptional service standards are maintained. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our continued growth while representing the Howdens brand on the road and providing a first–class customer experience.

Contract Type Full–Time – Permanent
Shift Pattern Monday to Friday Days 45 hours per week
Salary GBP41,429.93 per annum
What will you be doing as a Van Driver:
Safely load, check, secure and deliver bespoke worktop products to customer locations across the UKCarry out daily vehicle inspections and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and roadworthinessProvide a professional, courteous and customer–focused service at every delivery pointEnsure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) policies and proceduresSupport the wider transport and operations teams with additional duties as requiredComplete all delivery documentation accurately and efficiently
What do I need to qualify for the Van Driver:
A full UK driving licence held for at least one year and be able to drive a 3.5T van Previous delivery experience Excellent knowledge of driver regulations/WTD Have excellent geographical knowledgeFlexible in approach to working times and hours
