Description

Interim Procurement Manager required to support a major transformation programme for a London-based not-for-profit organisation. Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management and commercial delivery across key projects. Excellent opportunity to influence business decisions, manage strategic suppliers and support critical IT and operational change initiatives.

This role is within the not-for-profit space based in London.

Description

Lead procurement and contracting activities across a strategic transformation programme.

Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts and Statements of Work (SoWs).

Manage commercial relationships with key suppliers, ensuring strong performance and value delivery.

Drive cost savings and commercial improvements through procurement initiatives and contract renewals.

Lead end-to-end tender exercises, including supplier evaluation, selection, and contract award.

Support the implementation of a new procurement and contract management system.

Provide commercial and procurement expertise to stakeholders across the business.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:

Proven experience in a Procurement Manager or similar commercial role.

Strong contract and supplier management experience.

Public sector or experience working within not-for-profit organisations.

Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Demonstrable experience working with legal teams to execute commercial agreements and SoWs.

Strong commercial acumen with a focus on delivering value for money and managing risk.

CIPS qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.

Job Offer

Daily rate of £500 - £650 dependent on the level of experience and background.

Temporary position within the public sector / not-for-profit space. xjnqpsq

4 month contract with potential to extend.
