Multi Drop Van Driver

Description

Our client based in Kelso are looking to recruit an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver for multi drop work delivering food to schools, Experience is required due to the amount of drops on a daily basis (30–40 drops daily) and training will be limuted. The hours are Monday–Friday 10 hours per shift starting mainly 05:00am although with distribution the hours may change slightly due to traffic and hold ups out of your control. You will be driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle (Non Tacho). There will be some manual handling mainly losding crates onto a tro ey to drop off the produe to the schools.

You will need to have a can do attitude, and be able to lift, You will need to perform vehicle checks and report any defects to your line manager to get them rectified.

The rewards are a competitive based salary, While you are temporary the payments are made on a weekl;y basis and if offered a permanent position the payments will be made on a monthly basis. As you are delivering to svhools the majority of your holidays will be taken when the schools are off.

A permanent position will be offered to the successful driver.
