Our client, a reputable commercial workshop in the Exeter area, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join their team. Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on heavy and light commercial vehiclesPerform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) and prechecksAssist with breakdown cover and mobile service requirementsMaintain high standards of workmanship and safety complianceComplete accurate service and repair documentationCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient job completionRequirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualificationProven experience as an HGV Technician, with a minimum of 2 years within a commercial workshop or as a Mobile HGV TechnicianStrong diagnostic skills and comprehensive knowledge of HGV systemsAbility to perform preventative maintenance and prechecks effectivelyFlexibility to undertake mobile breakdowns and workshop dutiesValid UK driving licence; class 1 or 2 licence is advantageous but not essentialExcellent problem–solving skills and keen attention to detailIf you are an experienced HGV Technician seeking a role that values expertise, offers stability, and provides opportunities for career development, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
