HGV Driver (Class 2), Hemel Hempstead

Full Time Permanent

Salary: GBP35,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours

The Role

We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our Hemel Hempstead branch, delivering building materials locally through multi–drop routes. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Hours

42.5 hours, Monday to FridayStart times between 6:30am 7:30amNo overnight stays or late eveningsSaturday rota (approx. 2 per month), paid at 1.5x overtime rate Key Responsibilities

Operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with regulationsLoad/unload materials securelyComplete deliveries as scheduledMaintain accurate driving records and tachograph useConduct daily vehicle checksDeliver excellent customer serviceFollow all health & safety procedures Requirements
