HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER (NIGHTS OUT)
18.50 Per Hour + 25 Night Out Allowance No Handball Monday to Friday
Pertemps Milton Keynes are recruiting an experienced HGV1 Driver (Nights Out) for our client based in Milton Keynes.
If your idea of a good shift is covering some miles, parking up for the night and not being mistaken for a warehouse operative, you'll fit right in here.
THE IMPORTANT BITS
Monday to Friday – 7:00 Starts 1–4 Nights Out Per Week 18.50 Per Hour & 25 Night Out Allowance Weekly Pay No Handball Long Distance Runs
WHAT'S THE JOB?
This is proper driving work.
You'll be completing business–to–business deliveries across the UK, typically making 2–3 drops per day. No store deliveries. No dragging pallets around. Just straightforward HGV1 work, long–distance runs and nights out.
Your Typical Week:
2–3 deliveries per day Long–distance runs Average 9–hour shifts Plenty of motorway miles The kind of work where you can get settled in, crack on with the job and enjoy being behind the wheel.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Valid HGV1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' HGV1 experience Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations No more than 6 penalty points Reliable, professional and customer–focused attitude
