Discharge & Ferrying Driver (Vehicle Movement) – Grimsby

GI Group Grimsby are recruiting Discharge & Ferrying Drivers to support vehicle movements from vessels to an on–site compound in Grimsby. You'll be working with manual, automatic and electric vehicles so will need to be comfortable with driving all, with 2 paid trainee shifts provided to learn the role and build confidence before you get fully started.

The Role

As a Driver on site, you will:

Drive new vehicles from vessels to the on–site compoundDrive new vehicles between compounds for ferryingMove vehicles safely within the compound as requiredMaintain high standards of care and report any damage/issues immediately

Shifts & Pay

Varied hours across days, nights and weekends (shift dependent)Pay rates: 12.71 – 14.97 per hour (depending on shift)Overtime opportunities available

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

Full Manual UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years)Be aged 22+ (insurance purposes)Driving licence address must match your current home address3–6 points may be accepted subject to endorsement codeBe reliable, punctual and hard–workingAvailability for days and/or night shifts (including weekends)
