The role will also involve preparing information for Legal Services, supporting the settlement of claims, responding to Stage 2 and Ombudsman complaints, maintaining accurate case records and representing the Council in court proceedings where required.

The successful candidate will have:

·Experience managing housing disrepair cases within a local authority or social housing environment

·Knowledge of housing repairs, complaints and disrepair litigation

·Strong case management and organisational skills

·Experience liaising with legal teams, surveyors and contractors

·Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills

·Ability to manage competing deadlines and high-risk cases
