Job Title: Complex Case Tenancies Officer

Location: Newham

Contract Type: Temporary 3-6 months with the possibility of being up to 1 year

Rate: £21.91 PAYE hour

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Complex Case Tenancies Officer to enhance their Housing Income Collection team. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring resident safety and legal compliance by effectively resolving persistent no-access cases within their housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and manage a caseload of no-access properties, conducting home visits and engaging with residents.

Coordinate statutory compliance for gas, electrical, and safety inspections to secure access.

Prepare documentation for unresolved cases, including attending court when necessary.

Identify safeguarding concerns and collaborate with internal and external partners to support vulnerable residents.

Maintain accurate case records and contribute to performance reporting.Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong understanding of housing law, safeguarding, and data protection.

Proven experience in supporting legal processes or attending court.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.

Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.Qualifications:

Minimum GCSE level C in English and Mathematics.
