The Role of Class 2 HGV Driver

As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customer sites across the West London and wider area. You'll plan your routes effectively, carry out essential vehicle checks, and liaise closely with the operations team to keep things running smoothly.

This role includes occasional warehouse support, including picking, packing, and stock checks, helping the branch operate efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing as a Class 2 HGV DRiver

Delivering goods safely, professionally, and on timePlanning routes and verifying delivery instructionsCarrying out vehicle safety checks in line with DVSA regulationsProviding friendly, helpful customer service at every delivery pointSecuring and handling goods safely within vehicle weight limitsReporting any delivery issues, incidents, or defects promptlyAssisting in the branch when required with stock handling and housekeeping duties What We're Looking For in a Class 2 HGV Driver

Essential Skills & Experience:

Valid HGV licence (Category C or C+E)Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph CardExperience operating a Moffett or willingness to trainStrong communication skills and a customer-first attitudeProfessional driving experience and strong road knowledgeCommitment to safe driving and compliance with road regulations Personal Qualities:
