Reed Business Support are currently seeking a dedicated Export Clerk to join our client's dynamic team in Ashford. This role is crucial for managing the documentation and procedures involved in exporting goods efficiently and compliantly.

Export Clerk Day-to-day of the role: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation required for the export of goods.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure a smooth export process.Coordinate with customs agents for clearing of goods and adhere to regulatory requirements.Monitor the shipment process to ensure compliance with international laws and regulations.Update and maintain export records and systems with accurate data entry.Resolve any issues that may arise during the export process promptly.Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and providing updates on shipment status. Export Clerk Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Export Clerk or similar role.Strong understanding of export regulations and documentation.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Adept at handling complex logistics and working under pressure.Proficient in MS Office and database systems; experience with shipping software is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
