12 Month Fixed term Contract

Salary £35,000 (pro rata)

Monday - Thursday Office - Friday Home

We are looking for a Employee Relations Advisor to join the HR Team through a period of Maternity Leave and ideally you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified, although Level 4 maybe considered if you can demonstrate a high level of organisation and the ability of managing a high volume work load.

This is a fast paced hands on role and you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support across a range of HR activities to both managers and employees and the wider people network being the first point of contact for all HR queries playing a key role in shaping a positive work place culture.

Key Responsibilities for a Employee Relations Advisor

Advise and guide managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management.

Assist in development and implementation of HR Policies and Procedures

Support Managers to take ownership of cases CIPD LEvel

Coach and support line managers to build confidence in handling sensitive HR matters

Maintain accurate HR records and support with data analysis

Track ER matters and identify areas of improvement

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve engagement, well being and retention

Support recruitment and onboarding processes ensuring a smooth new starter Experience and Qualifications for a Employee Relations Advisor

CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)

Strong knowledge of UK employment Law and HR best practices

Confident in handling multiple employee relations cases with professionalism and empathy.

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Excellent Communication skills

Be familiar with HRIS and HR

Proven experience in retail or distribution Salary and Benefits for a Employee Relations Advisor
