Site Carpenter (1st & 2nd Fix) - Immediate Start - Roath, Cardiff

Description

We are recruiting an experienced Site Carpenter for an immediate start on a high-end development project in Cardiff. Positioned in Roath, you will carry out first and second fix carpentry installations, working to technical architectural drawings. Key Duties:

- Perform first fix carpentry including timber stud partitions, floor joists, and subfloors.

- Install second fix items including internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery.

- Ensure all timber structures are secure, level, and aligned with building specifications.

- Work alongside other site trades to maintain progress schedules and safe working environments.

Candidate Requirements:

- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Card or Gold Supervisor Card).

- Own comprehensive toolkit including hand tools and cordless power tools.

- NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent trade experience.

- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
