Description
We are recruiting an experienced Site Carpenter for an immediate start on a high-end development project in Cardiff. Positioned in Roath, you will carry out first and second fix carpentry installations, working to technical architectural drawings. All candidates must possess valid eligibility credentials and have the right to work in the UK. If you are interested and ready for an immediate start, please apply today!
Key Duties:
- Perform first fix carpentry including timber stud partitions, floor joists, and subfloors.
- Install second fix items including internal doors, skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery.
- Ensure all timber structures are secure, level, and aligned with building specifications.
- Work alongside other site trades to maintain progress schedules and safe working environments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Card or Gold Supervisor Card).
- Own comprehensive toolkit including hand tools and cordless power tools.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent trade experience.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings.
