Description
I asa self-employed decorator with over 20 years experience, and a very good reputation with clients and I am looking for somebody to help me. Nearly all of my work is in the south London area [Wandsworth/Southwark], but very occasionally I do work in Surrey and Essex. I work internally/externally and your work would included wall/woodwork preparation, painting, spraying and wall papering. I normally work 7-3 or 8-4 depending on location and drive a van to work.
I like to think of myself as honest and friendly and easy company. I treat people as I would expect to be treated myself.
I don't advertise, so all of my work comes from word of mouth and referrals. Therefore, I need a person who has good experience of decorating and can work to a high standard and to a good speed. I work for clients with high expectations in residential houses, so I need you to be thoughtful, clean, reliable and a decent human being. I have often struggled to find reliable people in the past, so please do not reply if you are unable to turn up to work on time or struggle to get out of bed.
I am potentially open to an apprentice, so if you are keen and practical and looking to get into decorating then this could be a good opportunity. Equally, if you are older and looking to change careers, but have the practical ability needed for a physical job then also get in touch.
Money would be dependant on your experience/abilty and I would ask you to do a trial day to see how you work and how we get on.
Please send a CV/examples of work and tell me a bit about yourself. Thanks for reading!
