Year 4 Class Teacher – Southwark

Four days a week | Monday–Thursday | ASAP start

Salary: £41,729–£54,131, M1–M6, per annum (full-time equivalent, pro rata for four days). Salary depends on qualifications and experience.

Contract: Part-time, long-term, with a view to continuing for the full academic year

Trial availability: Must be available to attend a trial

Transparency Education is recruiting a Year 4 Class Teacher for a lovely, one-form-entry Catholic primary school in Southwark. This vibrant, inclusive school welcomes children and families of all faiths and none, with a committed team helping every child thrive academically and personally.

Working Monday to Thursday, you will take on full class teaching responsibilities within a school that offers a strong sense of community and a supportive environment to develop your practice.

Your role

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.

Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.

Maintain the class’s positive behaviour and create an encouraging, inclusive classroom.

Work closely with colleagues and families to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.

What we’re looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a sound understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

Experience teaching in a primary classroom, ideally within KS2.

Strong planning, classroom management and communication skills.

A willingness to support the school’s inclusive Catholic ethos.

Availability to trial next week, start ASAP and commit to a long-term role.
