Role - Teaching Assistant

Location - M14, Manchester

Duration - Full-time, Long-term (Monday to Friday)

Hours - 8:30am - 4:00pm

Pay - £13.69 - £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a KS2 classroom providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH and ADHD needs. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to make a real difference in a child's learning and wellbeing.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis, tailoring support to their individual needs.

Support engagement in all classroom activities, providing focused learning opportunities.

Implement strategies to manage behaviour, support emotional regulation, and build confidence.

Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a consistent, nurturing environment.

Use your skills as a Teaching Assistant to foster progress in both academic and social-emotional areas.

Monitor and assess progress, reporting observations to staff as needed.

The ideal candidate is a patient, resilient, and adaptable Teaching Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment and has experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and other complex needs.
