Teaching Assistant – Wirral

Prospero Teaching are working with a well–regarded Wirral primary school who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide both whole–class and small–group support, helping to create a positive learning environment where every child can succeed.

This role would suit someone with experience supporting learning in a school setting, or a motivated individual looking to build a long–term career in education. You'll be supported by a fantastic team and have access to free CPD opportunities through Prospero Teaching.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – Wirral

Position – Teaching Assistant

Start date – As soon as possible

Contract type – Fixed Term

Full time/part time – Full time

Minimum rate of pay – 90 – 110 per day

Hours – 8:30am to 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

Previous experience working with children (school or alternative setting)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional references
