The role

A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs school in Manchester is seeking to appoint a full time SEND Teacher to deliver an SEN curriculum to students with Autism and complex needs. Ability levels can vary considerably and a willingness to deliver more than one curriculum area is desired for the role of SEND Teacher. The school provides outstanding multi–sensory learning, education and care for students aged 11 to 19.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teacher will have:

Experience working within a SEND school or with children/young people with physical or learning disabilities of some sort is essential for this teaching role. Be dedicated and supportive, an excellent communicator, passionate about working with students with SEND.Possess a recognised UK teaching qualificationThe SEND Teacher will be required to deliver an innovative and progressive curriculum.
