Teaching Assistant - Havering / The ideal candidate:

Experience supporting students with SEN, or a background in education, youth work, or care

Flexible and patient, with the ability to engage students with a variety of learning needs

Confident in providing 1:1 and small-group support, feeding back progress to teaching staff

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection in school settings

Positive, reliable, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills

Training in PECS, Makaton, Signalong, Team Teach or other SEN-related approaches is advantageous but not essential
