Teaching Assistant

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and help them stay on track.

Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Prepare and organise classroom resources and materials.

Support pupils with varying needs to ensure inclusion and participation.

Help with school activities, trips, and events as needed.

Provide feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and behaviour.

Contribute to creating a safe, caring, and stimulating school environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Patience, empathy, and a supportive nature.

A flexible and proactive approach to work.

An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
