Job Title - Safeguarding Lead

Salary - £30,000-£40,000

Location - Berkshire

Contract Type - Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Safeguarding Lead to lead the operational safeguarding function, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Role Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate safeguarding operations, ensuring best practice and statutory compliance.

Champion learner access to education by addressing emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.

Foster a culture of ambition, collaboration, and shared success across all departments.

Provide safeguarding advice, training, and guidance to staff across the organisation.

Analyse and report safeguarding data to inform curriculum and support planning.

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and manage a team of safeguarding officers.Essential Requirements

Level 3 safeguarding qualification.

DSL training and up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.

Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.

Proven safeguarding management experience within education or a related setting.

Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
