Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant for year 1 to join our vibrant primary school in Camden, working specifically within our specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit. This full-time role involves supporting children with ASD in both 1:1 and small group settings, helping them to access learning and thrive within the school environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored support that meets each child’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to pupils with ASD

Assist in implementing EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists

Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Support children with social communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines
