We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our Year 6 team. This exciting role involves supporting our students during their crucial final year of primary school, particularly in the lead-up to SATs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide valuable support across core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. Your role will involve assisting with targeted support for individual students and small groups, ensuring they are well-prepared for their SATs. You will also help create a positive classroom environment, fostering engagement and good behaviour, while monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teacher to inform tailored learning plans. Additionally, you will support with administrative tasks related to SATs preparation and assessment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students, ideally within a Year 6 setting, and possess a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, especially in SATs preparation. Excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff, and a proactive attitude are essential. Above all, you should have a genuine passion for helping children succeed and supporting them in reaching their full potential.

Joining our school means becoming part of a supportive and friendly team, with opportunities for professional development and career growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students during their final year of primary school.

If you have the experience, dedication, and enthusiasm we are looking for, we would love to hear from you!
