We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in a range of local secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain first-hand school experience before pursuing a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.
Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification but all applications will be considered.
A fully enhanced DBS will be required.
The Role Includes:
Leading the classroom in the teacher's absenceDelivering pre-prepared lessonsMaintaining classroom engagement and behaviourManaging handover and reporting back to the regular teacherNo marking or planning required Ideal for Candidates with Experience in:
Sports coachingYouth workDrama, Art, or Music workshopsSummer camps or holiday clubsScouts/Guides/Cubs/BrowniesOutdoor activity instruction / Duke of Edinburgh AwardAny experience working with young people (minimum 2 months) Why Join Academics?
