Site Manager

Description

CCS are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive School Site Manager to join a dedicated outstanding ofsted primary school.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Site Manager or a highly experienced School Caretaker looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well-maintained, and ready to provide an outstanding learning environment for pupils and staff.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

* 7:00am – 11:00am

* 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

* Opening and closing the school each day.

* Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.

* Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and secure.

* Managing health and safety compliance across the site.

* Conducting routine building and equipment checks.

* Liaising with contractors and overseeing work carried out on site.

* Managing site security, including alarms and access.

* Supporting the school with planned maintenance projects and emergency repairs.

* Assisting with the setup of school events where required.

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience working as a School Site Manager or an experienced School Caretaker looking to progress.

* Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.

* Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a school environment.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Able to work independently and use initiative.

* Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining high standards.

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
